Of that later pic is interesting story in that book by Sakari Sarkisilta.The pic was taken 31.1.42 in Lempaala sector,Jarvi base and MG position was called Kapujarvi.Men are from Boerderjaeger battalion 1 and the man firing the mg is Kersantti Armas Nurmilaukas.Mg position was clearly seen from enemy side and it was favorite target for Russian snipers.The mg had just came from maintenace and Sergeant Nurmilaukas was eager to try it,so eager that he didn't put snowsuit on.Gun worked and others went to bunker for coffee, Nurmilaukas stayed and fired gun.After a while others returned and found Nurmilaukas dead with bullet hole in his forehead.Russian sniper had caught too eager firer.When the pic was taken it was c.14.00 31.1.42.
