The grave is located ona small hill in Suursuo (Komarikhinskoe) swamp, immediately westwards from Helsinki - St. Petersburg highway. The hill is located in some 300 meters southwards from beautiful Taasionlammet (Podgornye) lakes. 15 Red Army men, who are buried in the grave apparently belonged to the 24th Rifle Division and were killed during offensive operations in February 1940. Eastwards from the highway there is another cross, erected on the place where remains of 80 Red Army men were found.
