Mu 10 and Mu11

Barbed wire trap with two bunkers at the highway

Two standard bunkers located directly at the highway, with one fence of barbed wire in front of them and one behind, so that assaulting infantry would be trapped under the fire from the bunkers after crossing the first barbed wire fence.

Destroyed bunker to the west from the highway in 1940 (picture source - Mannerheim Line and Finnish fortifications on Karelian Isthmus, by E. Balashov, Galea Print, St Petersburg 2000)

View of the same bunker in 2003

The bunker firing towards the shore of Muolaanjarvi lake

Anti-tank obstacles in at the highway south from Mu10 and Mu11 bunkers. The only section of the AT-obstacles at the whole line that is illuminated during the night.
